Kidsports has long been associated with fun in the Greater Boston area, and for good reason. Yet we’re not only an indoor play place and a great spot for parties, we are also a state-licensed childcare facility. After-School Care
While we certainly offer free play, did you know that we also provide a structured curriculum? Our weekly enrichment activities cover such subjects as math, science, history, language arts, drama, and health. We also have a homework club!
Research shows that after-school programs can dramatically boost children’s success in school. We provide a safe, noncompetitive atmosphere and activities that encourage cooperation and social support. In this setting, kids who are shy or not prone to taking risks feel more comfortable speaking out and practicing leadership skills. We make learning fun by using hands-on activities rather than papers and tests, and we use positive peer pressure to encourage homework completion.
Preschool Program
Our preschool program mixes fundamental learning activities such as letters and numbers with physical activities in our indoor and outdoor play facilities. This full-day program encourages social, cognitive, emotional, and communication skills through a developmental approach that allows each child to learn at her own pace. Nutritional snacks, juice, and milk are provided each day.
School Fundraisers
Fundraising can be frustrating, as kids and parents traipse around town trying to sell candy or other small items, log everything on forms, take payment, and complete deliveries. So why not use Kidsports as your fundraising activity instead?
Our event coordinator will help you select a package that works for your needs. We’ll give you an incredibly discounted package price and help you choose a ticket price that makes sense for your group. You’ll keep the difference between your ticket prices and our low package price. We can even help you design a flyer that is sure to garner interest from kids and parents alike!
