Kidsports was opened in June of 1994 by Susan and David Greenblatt.

Susan, a 3rd grade teacher had taken some time off to raise their three children.

Together with their children, Susan and David began to visit many type of children’s play activities. They began to talk about designing their own play center. At first it was just for fun. Then they started to think about making it a reality.

It was important for them to open in Stoughton. As Stoughton residents they felt it was important to offer educational services and a safe place for kids to exercise and play right in their own community.

They did lots of research, wrote a business plan and partnered with a local bank to open their first location on Washington Street in Stoughton over 20 years ago.

At First it was strictly an indoor playground After a couple of years in business, they worked with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to add state licensed childcare including preschool, prekindergarten, after school care and a full day summer program.

The indoor play center has a three story claiming structure, there are also inflatables and arcade games. After moving to their second location, Laser Tag and Plaster Painting were added. In the fall of 2015 David and Susan purchased a building on the conner of Central Street and Evans Drive which will be their permanent location.

David and Susan love working with the families and meeting new people. They also enjoy seeing former students and families who are now coming in with their own children and grandchildren.

Susan and David thank you for the past 20 years and look forward to sharing the next 20 years with you and your families!
